Am I Eligible?

  • Self-referral and walk-ins are welcome
  • Health care providers can refer to the RAAC
  • Medical services are paid for by OHIP
  • Supports available to those who may need to obtain an Ontario Health Card

The RAAC does not provide

  • Diagnosis and treatment of chronic pain
  • Narcotic prescriptions outside of narcotic dependence treatment protocols
  • Long-term medical or addiction counselling services


Services

Client Services

  • Assessment of substance use concerns
  • Review of treatment options including harm reduction and abstinence
  • Education and support related to withdrawal
  • Brief individual counselling and peer support
  • Education on overdose prevention and the use of Naloxone
  • Short-term treatment (4-6 weeks)
  • Referral to longer-term supports for ongoing care

When Monday is a Statutory Holiday, the RAAC is open 9AM-3PM on Tuesdays.

First appointments are provided on a walk-in basis.
Arriving earlier in the day is recommended due to high patient volume
